Stephen C. Smith Memorial Regatta Sponsors and Volunteers Pa

The Stephen C. Smith Memorial Regatta Sponsors and Volunteers Party is scheduled for Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 6:30 pm, at the ABYC at Shell Point. Please inform the major volunteers on your committees of this date. Also please invite the seven (7) major (i.e., tee shirt) sponsors under your purview. Someone needs to invite the ACS representative to attend in person to pick up the check.

We are asking every committee chair (and anyone else who wishes) to bring a side dish to the event to share. Salads, potatoes, vegetables, casseroles, desserts, etc. are welcome. The Regatta will provide burgers, chicken, wieners, buns, toppings, and condiments, and also beverages (water, tea, beer, wine). Anther e-mail will go into more detail.

This year each committee chair will need to make their own list of the committee volunteers that they wish to recognize -- I will not have them listed on my agenda. Please note that unfortunately we can't accommodate every single volunteer who may have worked some on the event; please stick to those who made an impact. Shown below is a list of this year's committee chairs, followed by a list to jog your memories of last year's (2024) volunteers who were recognized. These will certainly have changed for this year (2025). At the ceremony, we'll give out a "diploma" (regatta poster) to every family unit having a volunteer. I need the number of those that you wish to invite by the end of next week (June 14) so that I know how many poster "diplomas" to order.
