2024 Event Schedule - Dates and Deadlines

  • February 1 – “Save the Date” email goes out
  • March 17 - Reminder Email
  • March 11 - Meeting - Casa Grande Margaritas & Cocina
  • March 20 – On-line registration starts
  • April 1 - Meeting - Casa Grande Margaritas & Cocina
  • April 1 - Last date for Sponsorships
  • April 5– Deadline for what goes in booklet
  • April 12 – Deadline for sign requests to Marianne
  • April 15 - Meeting - Casa Grande Margaritas & Cocina
  • April 17 – Early registration closes
  • April 24 – On-line Registration Closes at Noon
  • April 26 – 51th Annual Smith Regatta begins!!

Amendment to Sponsorship Level Number of Regs and Shirts

There has been a recommendation to amend the number of registrations and shirts Sponsors would get as follows: 3 regs for $2,000 and 2 regs for $1,000, and 2 shirts for $500. $5000 would still get 5 regs. Thoughts? Comments? Concerns?

All: Please remember that even if sponsors get gratis registrations, if they will participate in any way in the event (race/lunch/supper/beer/band, etc.) for legal reasons they must fill out a registration form and sign the waiver. If they only want shirts and nothing else, then you can deliver their shirts to them after the event. Regards, WCF

I have good news this St. Paddy’s Day! Effective immediately, new CASH Sponsor Levels are as follows: 5 Regs for $5,000, 3 Regs for $2,000, 2 Regs for $1,000 and 1 Reg for $500 (with an optional additional t-shirt for $500 level). These are for CASH donors. In-kind would have to be double the cash amount to receive the same benefits. Deb - please update our Sponsor sheet when you have the time. Thank you all for your input on this topic to make this suitable for our generous donors supporting the Smith!! ~A~

Most donors have an other... and we can ask if they want them or not. This would be great. I would rather not have to remind our NEW $1000 donor who WILL be attending that they have to register for one. Thanks for this consideration.

Sounds good to me.....would have been for that from the beginning. stan
