Final Planning Meeting and Auction donation Drive!!!
Good morning and happy Friday eve all!
We will hold our last official planning meeting this SUNDAY, MAY 16TH, at 4p in Shell Point at the home of Bob and Sandy o! (Thank you to you both for hosting!). Please bring a chair and your beverage of choice.
A few key points..
YES- It is essential that you are present at this meeting either in person or via Zoom (link to follow). We are within the last 30 days of the event. Suffice to say, there are many loose ends that need to be tied up.
YES-We will be conducting a "tech test" immediately AFTER the meeting. Special thank you to Mike Gainey and our webmistress Deb Berlinger for helping us get and stay connected! If you would like to assist with the auction activities, registration, or just plan on surfing (the "Interweb" as Alton Brown refers to it), please plan by bringing your laptop, phones, and/or dongles so that we may troubleshoot and plan accordingly.
YES- Although there are many tasks that have been completed and/or will be completed as part of the logistics, there are still folks who really need some support and man/woman power. One of those critical areas is the auction. Please reach out to Rose, auction chair, as she would both welcome and appreciate any and all volunteers!
YES- We are holding an auction donation drive at the Firehouse from 12p-2p earlier on the same day as our meeting. Please encourage folks to donate CLEAN, AUCTION-WORTHY items for our event. Although the art work has been finalized, we are of course still accepting donations! If you are able to assist with the donation drive with your presence (volunteering to log in items, etc), please reach out to Rose directly. Bill and I are planning to be there from 11:30a until we finish for the day.
YES- PLEASE HELP WITH SPREADING THE WORD! Our online registration goes live Monday, May 17th. We are looking forward to a wonderful event to benefit the American Cancer Society!
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or need additional assistance at this time.
Thank you all for all that you do!
Nostrovia!
